Hotels
Tokyo has an extraordinary range of accomodation options to suit every budget, from capsule hotel to high-end 5 star hotel. Some examples of accommodation options available near to the conference venue are provided as a guide below. For additional options please consider using reservation sites such as travel.rakuten.com or international alternatives (to narrow search location try “Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan”). Bear in mind, although the subway will link many other areas with the venue morning commutes could be very crowded, so staying close to the venue is advised.
Forest Hongo
Short walk to the venue. Has 63 rooms, all of which have at least semi-double size beds. Standard single rooms have an area of 18m2 and deluxe single rooms have an area of 33m2. Deluxe single rooms can accommodate one or two people (these rooms have double beds). The hotel also has twin rooms and Japanese-style rooms. Every room comes with an Internet connection which is available free of charge.

Short walk to venue. Traditional Japanese style accommodation (‘ryokan’) in old wooden building (a Listed Tangible Cultural Property) with communal bathing facilitates, prices per person. Includes breakfast.
